Chlorine dioxide is used to remove manganese and iron, deodorize, decolorize, disinfect, reduce/eliminate THM’s & HAAs, control algae and biofilm and control/eliminate legionella.
As a safe, efficient and powerful disinfectant, chlorine dioxide is very suitable for the disinfection of tap water.

Details:

For tap water plant, disinfection in the last process of water production is very important. Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) is the most ideal disinfectant, which has the characteristics of broad spectrum, high-efficiency, non-toxic, small dosage, and long-term efficacy. However, the activated ClO2 is extremely unstable, and the best solution is to use a ClO2 generator for on-site generating and dosing.

Equipment selection:

The equipment selection should be determined according to the dosage concentration and the maximum water supply per unit time. The dosage is normally 0.5-1 mg/L, It is advisable to use a fully automatic chlorine dioxide generator with flow or residual ClO2 on-line detector.
